Sleep Medicine

Snoring? Tired all day long? Can never seem to get enough rest? Does falling asleep, or staying asleep, feel impossible? Does the idea of getting a good night’s sleep seem out of reach?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be one of the 70 million Americans with a sleep disorder. When you’re unable to sleep well, you struggle to pay attention at work and be present with friends and family. In fact, studies show that those who don’t get enough sleep are more likely to be diagnosed with cancer, cardiovascular disease, and depression.

Have no fear, you’ve come to the right place. At the Sleep Center of Pulmonologists, PC, our dedicated and experienced team of experts offer high-tech, noninvasive, painless sleep studies to uncover the root of the problem. We understand the importance and science of sleep. We also believe every patient is unique and deserves to be treated as such.

Our highly trained technicians will answer any and all of your questions about how a sleep study (polysomnogram) works, but to put it simply, we use a series of monitors and sensors to measure your vital signs across all stages of sleep and levels of wakefulness. The data is then interpreted by Elliott Exar, MD, our in-house medical director,, who is board certified in sleep medicine.

We identify the root of the problem, then create a treatment plan customized to fit your needs and designed to help you get a better night’s sleep so that you wake up feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to meet the day.

At the Sleep Center of Pulmonologists, PC, we believe a good night’s sleep is an essential component of a happy, healthy lifestyle. That’s the motivation behind our mission:

  • To provide high-quality sleep studies and patient care to help you, our valued patients
  • To create timely, thorough, and accurate reports that guide customized treatment plans
  • To offer continued follow-up and ongoing education to help you sleep better at night so you feel better during the day.
